We live life in uncertainty. Nothing is ever clear and no one knows what will happen next. Sometimes, things can change in a split second while other times, it's so gradual that we tend to not see the actual extent of the change until it's too late. Whatever the reason to the change may be, it was probably destined to happen that way. However, the uncertainty doesn't stop once the change has occurred. It tends to linger just above us so that we are never certain as to what may happen next or how things will turn out. Even with the slightest bit of uncertainty, it is enough to create fear and caution. We start to grow fear of our actions, uncertain of what it may bring in return. Thus creating caution and hesitation. Though I believe it is this very uncertainty, we hate so much, that makes life so worth living, I just wish that sometimes we have the answers or certainty of what's ahead so that we may act on it now rather than guess. Only because from recent personal experiences, these uncertainties have caused me great pain. It is this uncertainty that causes me to drop back into darkness just when I've finally taken a step forward towards a new light. It's like a double-edge sword, because when that uncertainty finally becomes certain, it can bring the greatest joy and happiness in the world to us but... It can also cause the greatest pain and suffering, crumbling everything we know. Uncertainty... Something we sometimes, underestimate.
